Air Dispersion Modelling
Air dispersion modeling is used to predict the concentration of contaminates released from a facility at locations off property. In Ontario the air pollution regulations are based on the concentration of the contaminants at a "point of impingement" i.e. at the location off property that has the highest concentration predicted by the dispersion model.
Church & Trought Inc. (CTI) is committed to providing the most up date modeling and emission analysis using the most current software. As provisions of Ontario Regulation 419/05 come into effect, CTI will continue to select and apply the most appropriate modeling software as required. The modeling software currently being utilized at CTI includes the Regulation 346 modeling algorithm, SCREEN3, ISCST3, ISCPRIME and AERMOD.
Dispersion modeling is also effectively used in predicting odours from facilities. This is often completed at the design phases of a new facility or process or to resolve odour issues with neighbours
