Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (Phase II ESA's)
Typically, Phase II ESA's are carried out after completion of the Phase I ESA. A Phase II ESA involves subsurface drilling, sampling of soil, water and/or air, laboratory analyses, interpretation of data and preparation of a technical report. A qualitative and quantitative evaluation of a site is used to determine the need and entent of site cleanup, address health and safety issues, and obtain approvals for brownfield redevelopment. CTI has experience investigating many contaminants including heavy metal, petroleum hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, PCB's, oil spills, volatile organic compounds, and many other industrial liquids and hazardous materials. CTI has qualified professional staff including professional engineers, geoscientists, and certified engineering technologists to manage and carry out Phase II ESA's.
