Comprehensive Emissions Inventories
At CTI we provide the latest in estimation techniques for the quantification of air emissions to the environment. Over the years engineers have developed methods for the estimation of process and fugitive gas emissions from plants and facilities. Based on the fundamental principals of Chemical Engineering coupled with our practical experience and insight these methods provide accurate and economical alternatives to direct measurements. Regulatory authorities around the world rely heavily on these types of techniques in evaluating industrial emissions and compliance. Talk to us about our experiences and let us help you compile your own database of air emissions.

There is an increasing need to establish a complete documentation of substances being emitted from a facility and the rate of discharge.

Emissions inventories are completed:

As a requirement to obtain approvals and permits;

Government reporting;

Requirement of compliance audit;

Request of Government agency;

Our strategy is to establish the inventory in a manner that meets the objectives at the lowest cost.

Engineering estimates are used when possible and may include using the following techniques:

material balances;

design specifications;

USA EPA emission factors;

existing testing results;

Should engineering estimate techniques not provide sufficient confidence, measurements might be recommended. Testing methods are selected which will provide the desired degree of confidence at the lowest cost to the client.
